SECOND AMENDED NOTICE
July 10, 2025
Notice is hereby given that the application period for residents of White City Water Improvement District ("WCWID") to file an application to fill the at-large Trustee position vacated, due to a trustee moving outside of WCWID's boundaries, has been extended and interviews for the same re-scheduled to WCWID's Board of Trustees meeting on August 20, 2025. Candidates must meet the statutory requirements of an elected official at the time of application. Candidates must submit the application and are encouraged to submit a letter of interest that includes a description of their background and why they are interested in the position. Please note that the remaining term of office for the Trustee seat will be August 20, 2025, through December 31, 2026. All qualified individuals who submit an application to fill the Trustee position vacancy will be interviewed by the WCWID Board of Trustees in a public meeting at 999 E. Galena Drive on August 20, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The Board of Trustees may appoint a replacement at the same meeting. The application and letter of interest will be included in the materials for the Board of Trustees meeting.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend the interviews in person. However, if a candidate cannot attend personally, he or she may request from the Chair of the Board of Trustees the opportunity to participate via a Zoom link. The Chair can choose whether or not such a link will be made available and will inform the candidate and WCWID staff of the decision. A request to the Chair shall be made by email to pflint@wcwid.utah.gov. A remote participant must be available during their scheduled interview time, as the Board of Trustees will not consider candidates who are unavailable for any reason during this period. Additionally, candidates participating remotely are required to remain connected on Zoom from the beginning of the meeting until a candidate has been appointed by the Board of Trustees.
The amended deadline for submitting an application is Monday, August 13, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
Applications are available online at wcwid.utah.gov and at the WCWID Offices, 999 E. Galena Drive between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Applications must be submitted in person to the WCWID General Manager or Offfice Manager.
